Cheers to Mrs. Belem’s Cocktails! We love a good Bloody Mary and have created our own recipe that we are sure you will love; perfect for a weekend brunch!
To get started gather the essentials:
Grab your glass- we recommend a highball.
Get your shaker ready as well as ice cubes to ensure your Bloody is the perfect temperature.
Mrs. Belem’s Cajun Spice Blend and Mrs. Belem 5 Pepper Spice Blend.
- 1 1/2 ounces of your favorite vodka (If you like your Bloody hot & spicy, we recommend Stolichnaya Hot Pepper.)
- 3 ounces tomato juice
- ½ lemon- squeeze into the shaker
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 drops Tabasco sauce
- 1 Celery Stock
- 2 Green Olives
- 1 Pinch of Mrs Belem 5 Peppers
- 1 Pinch of Mrs Belem Cajun
3 simple steps to the perfect Mrs. Belem’s Bloody Mary…
Step 1 – In the Shaker pour in the vodka, add ice, tomato juice, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco Sauce, small pinch of Mrs. Belem 5 Peppers, small pinch of Mr. Belem Cajun. Shake vigorously.
Step 2 – Rim the Glass. Take a slice of lemon and lightly rim the edge of your glass. In a small plate pour Mrs. Belem Cajun Spice to cover the bottom of the plate , take the top of the glass and place it on top of the Mrs. Belem’s Cajun blend so you have a light dusting of the spice blend on the rim of your glass.
Step 3 – Pour the Bloody Mary into your Highball, and simply add a celery stock, slice of lemon (or lime) and 2 olives, stir with a straw and you are good to go! Cheers!
